I stayed here for 2 nights whilst delivering training and eveything was exceptional. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. The location is perfect for exploring the city and the carpark where you can directly access the hotel is very useful. Luxury accomodation in the heart of Chester!

We have stayed here many times and the hotel is beautiful with lovely staff. Today 17/01/26 we were just visiting Chester for the day and called in at 12.30pm for lunch in the Brasserie. It was busy when we arrived but we were taken to a table. Even though it was busy we did not wait too long before we were given menus and then the most charming gentleman arrived at our table who I assume is the Restaurant Manager to take our order for drinks. As Chardonnay is only available to purchase in a bottle and I only wanted a glass this very nice man recommended another white wine and it was lovely. He certainly knows about wine. We ordered the beef and the chicken and it was delicious. Having just eaten far too much over Xmas I was trying to be good and not having dessert but when the lovely man came back with the menus and looked at me and said "If you like chocolate and pointed on the menu and said it is good". Diet went out the window! WOW it was good and the chocolate sauce was delicious. I wanted to lick the remaining chocolate off the plate!! A huge thank you for a lovely lunch and staff who work very hard. We will be back to stay again. If I could give 100 stars I would and definitely 10/10. Happy New Year to all the staff. Oh and forget to mention the very nice doorman who was most welcoming

My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding, along with our immediate families. The rooms were incredibly luxurious and spacious with lots of care and attention paid to them. Bed was incredibly comfy - we didn't want to ever leave! The breakfast the next day - which was most needed - was delicious and fresh, and everyone enjoyed it. A huge thank you to the staff who really went the extra mile to assure that we had a wonderful evening when we arrived and throughout our stay. From organising the block booking of rooms, to arranging breakfast for us all the following day to the personal touches special to my wife and I to celebrate. We're locals to the city and it was truly a wonderful experience to get to stay here.

Stayed here on Saturday 17th January ,If booking valet parking as soon as you arrive by car the Concierge welcomes you in by name a great warm welcome. Check in with very friendly staff. We had a full afternoon out around Chester very vibrant and friendly place. In the hotel our rooms were stunning and very welcoming and warm. We went for dinner in the Brasserie , I can only speak for myself the Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and probably one of the best tasting I'd eaten. Highly recommend a stay here.

There arnt enough stars to give this hotel. We stayed for only one night only and wish we could have stayed longer. One of our party had a fall outside causing a couple of additional falls inside the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful to us, nothing too much trouble. Food was fabulous. The evening dining room experience was astoundingly. For a special occasion it’s worth every penny. It’s not cheap so don’t expect it to be. You get what you pay for.

Excellent location in the heart of chester so easy access with transport. We went on a bust Saturday afternoon and service was excellent , staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you . Atmosphere was lovely and relaxing with light music playing. Food was excellent with a wide variety of options and when Food arrived it was presented beautifully. Drinks selection was really good and especially the cocktails as we had champagne cocktails that were amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful location. The accommodation size and quality is what we expected for the price of a suite. We did have one precariously wonky and unstable table. The bed was incredibly comfy. We enjoyed being able to order breakfast to the room.

We have visited Chester about 12 times over the last few years so know the area well. This time we thought we’d treat ourselves with our wedding money to a stay at the Grosvenor. What a wonderful experience it was and we can’t wait to stay there again. Every member of staff we encountered provided exceptional service. On check in we were escorted to our room and our luggage soon followed. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable although a little tired which is expected in such an old property. We only had breakfast at the hotel but there was plenty of choice from continental and cooked, both were delicious. We parked on the shopping centre car park which gave direct access into the hotel. Special thanks to Anastasia who took care of us on our arrival.
